We Do Not ship shelters or stakes

Plantra prices have been rising. If you delay paying for a shelter order,  or only put down a deposit,  and the prices from Plantra increase, you will be charged the higher price.  Once you have paid in full for your shelter order, the price is locked in. Please pay in full promptly to lock in your price.

Each Combo comes with a 5 foot shelter, a 74 inch fiberglass stake, ties and bluebird netting.  For orders of 10 or more, a driver for the stakes is also included.

These 5 foot shelters from Plantra.com are excellent. They are solid with ventilation. When a tree grows out the top of a 5 foot shelter, the branches are out of reach of deer. The tube will also protect the tree from herbicide spray, rabbits, and clumsy feet. A mower can take down the shelter, but at least it is clear where the tree is located.
Great for chestnuts, persimmon, ect.

These  74 inch long fiberglass SunFlex™ stakes are designed to flex slightly in the wind, helping to grow a sturdier  tree trunk.  They are durable, virtually unbreakable, and reusable. The triangular design of the stake allows for flexing in 3 directions without creating a hole at the base of the stake.

These shelters are packaged in bundles of 50, with 5 bundles of 10 in each large bundle. We have changed our prices to reflect this packaging.
Bundles of 50 are $342.50 or $6.85/shelter and stake
Bundles of 10 are  $69.50 or $6.95/shelter and stake
Individuals are $7.25 each

This price is for pickup at our farm. We can arranged shipping to your farm from the Plantra factory for very large  orders. Call or email us to find out what the minimum is now for “drop shipping”.
